Good news for Kogi State as an entertainment revolution begins.The state which have been known for negative stories on the media lately is about to be metamorphosed into an entertainment hub.this statement was made at a press release organised by a group called CONFLUENCE CITY FINEST (CCF).This group is made up of seasoned entertainers most of which are Kogites by origin.They express their bitterness over the lack of entertainment in the state,stating that considering the tourism potential and location of Kogi State in the map of Nigeria (centre of the nation )as it connects virtually all geographical zones in the country,Kogi is suppose to be a major entertainment hub linking the north to the south,east to north ,north to west and to the south south of Nigeria. they said its time for them to take their rightful place in the entertainment and tourism industry.
In light of the realization of
the industry’s potential to make and grow sustainable wealth, our company;
Confluence City’s Finest with the support of our partners have embarked on a
mission to sensitize the entertainment community within Kogi State and other
stake holders in the business of the need to harness what talent is available
in the hope of helping grow artists (performing and non performing) and
actualize their dreams and aspiration and by doing this hope to put our state
on the map and help reclaim its lost glory.
they intend to hold an audition accompanied with a three days workshop/seminar.Mr Javin of CCF Said"The
workshop is primarily aimed at taking an inventory on the available talent
within the state to help build a data base which we can be accessed any time when we
need to do promotions or help scout for sponsorship,record label,events and things of that sort. Permit
to state at this point that we have been in this business for close to a decade
and have decided to bring it home so our people can enjoy from our wealth of
experience'' we are also partnering with MADIRA Nigeria Limited organisers of the prestigious CONFLUENCE FIESTA CARNIVAL for the next edition of the fiesta and a pre countdown event for the fiesta tagged ''THE INVASION Coming very Soon
